Roof Repair Smedway built its Hail Damage Roof Repair division around one idea: homeowners in San Carlos deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Every technician on a Roof Repair Smedway crew earned their spot through years on real roofs in San Carlos, CA, not a two-week onboarding video — that's the difference customers notice the moment we pull up.
We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every lead installer holds current state licensing, so a claim adjuster, a home inspector, or your own insurance carrier can verify our credentials without a single awkward phone call.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Hail Damage Roof Repair teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Verified licensing across San Carlos, CA with documentation available on request.
A tarp-down call at 2 a.m. gets the same urgency as one at 2 p.m.
You'll see the number before any work starts, not buried in a final invoice.
Local crews already know the weather patterns and permit offices in San Carlos, CA.
A roof rarely fails all at once. It sends smaller signals first, and catching them early is almost always cheaper than waiting for the emergency call.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Once a shingle starts warping, it's no longer sealing properly against wind-driven rain.
Small gaps that let light in will let water in during the next heavy rain.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
Poor roof ventilation or compromised insulation from a slow leak can quietly push cooling costs up month over month.
A visible bare patch after a windstorm means the roof's weather barrier has a direct gap that needs covering immediately.
Whether it's a single emergency tarp or a full system replacement, each service below is handled by technicians who specialize in that exact scope of work.
When high wind or hail peels back a section of roofing, our on-call crew tarps the exposed area to stop active water intrusion before it reaches the decking, then schedules the permanent repair.
From a handful of cracked shingles to a full asphalt or metal system replacement, our residential crews scope the job against manufacturer specs, not guesswork.
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water issues before they become structural.
Replacement jobs include a detailed material walkthrough so you're choosing a system that fits your climate exposure and budget, not just whatever's on the truck.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general handyman work often gets wrong — our crews treat them as their own scope.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in San Carlos, CA.
The inspection covers decking condition, flashing points, and ventilation, not just the obvious problem area.
Financing and insurance-claim assistance are discussed at this stage if applicable.
Once approved, the crew schedules the work and completes it to manufacturer spec, cleaning the property before leaving.
Crews dispatched from within San Carlos, CA reach most San Carlos calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
We'd rather lose a job over an honest price than win one with a lowball number that grows later.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
If something about the finished work doesn't meet the agreed scope, we come back and make it right.
We've worked with enough adjusters across San Carlos, CA to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
Some jobs genuinely need a repair, not a replacement, and we'll tell you which one yours is.
We put our workmanship guarantee in writing on every job, so if something about the completed work doesn't match what was agreed, we send a crew back at no extra charge.
We also guarantee the estimate itself: barring a scope change you approve in writing, the number on your written quote is the number on your final invoice.
